drywall installer

FGS Construction Ltd. · Victoria, BC · $36.60 hourly

Verdict

FGS Construction Ltd. is a legitimate drywall company with a verified website and matching business name/location. However, the posting exhibits multiple strong fraud signals: applicants are directed to mail physical resumes to a residential house address rather than a business office, and the contact email is a generic Gmail domain instead of the company's own domain. These red flags—particularly the residential mailing address combined with physical resume requirement—are classic indicators of application fraud or credential harvesting, despite the employer's legitimacy.

  • web.applicationAddressType+40

Mailing address (4337 Columbia Dr, Victoria, BC) is a residential house, not a commercial business office—applicants directed to send materials to a private home

  • mail_physical_resume+20

Posting requires physical resume submission by mail to residential address; unusual for modern hiring and combined with residential address is a strong fraud signal

  • generic_email_domain+18

Contact email is jobsfgsconstructionltd@gmail.com (free Gmail), not company domain; legitimate employer would use company email

  • web.locationMatch-5

Website confirms FGS Construction operates in Victoria, BC as claimed in posting

  • websiteReachable-8

Official website is reachable and confirms legitimate business operations

  • web.businessMatch-15

Company name and website (fgsconstruction.ca) verified as legitimate drywall services provider in Victoria, BC
