Occupation (NOC): Construction estimators (22303) Location: Langley, BC Salary: $40.40 to $42.24 hourly (to be negotiated) Hours: Full-time Term: Permanent Workplace: [object Object] Education: College/CEGEP Tasks: Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs, Prepare pre-qualification submissions to present clients , Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements , Prepare master format estimates (Class A), Prepare elemental format estimates (Classes B, C, D), Operate CADD and other computer software systems, Prepare estimates for general expenses and overheads, Provide economic feasibility studies and preliminary estimates for proposed projects, Create and submit estimate reports, quote sheets and bids forms, Advise on tendering procedures, Analyze tenders and recommend awards, Monitor and adjust contract expenditures, Prepare and maintain directory of supplies and trade contractors, Liaise, consult and communicate with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates, Conduct geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping Resource usage and environmental studies: Groundwater movement analysis Computer and technology knowledge: AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, SolidWorks software, MS Outlook, Microsoft Visio Equipment and machinery experience: Pumps Type of industry experience: Pipelines Area of specialization: Geotechnical Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail Personal suitability: Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Team player, Proactive Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Employment terms options: Morning, Day How to apply: By email: hr@ncsfluidsystems.ca
