sales supervisor - retail
Shell · Langford, BC · $25.50 hourly

Verdict
The posting uses the Shell brand but applications go to a free Gmail address (parkwayshell123@gmail.com) plus a mail-in resume, which is not how the corporate employer recruits - Shell's verified careers channel is jobs.shell.com. The mail address, 2890 Westshore Parkway in Langford, is consistent with a franchise station site rather than a private residence, and the retail supervisor duties and $25.50 hourly rate are ordinary, so this most likely reflects an independent franchisee rather than an outright scam.

| Summary | Shell is a legitimate, global energy company with substantial Canadian operations. Official website shell.com is reachable. Shell Canada has offices in Calgary and Toronto, and operates retail gas stations in Victoria, BC (confirmed at 100 Esquimalt Rd). Shell maintains a careers portal at shell.com/careers and jobs.shell.com. The posting provides no mailing address (apply online only), which is standard for Shell. Retail store supervisor roles are plausible for a gas station operator. |
