administrative assistant

The Handy Store · Trail, BC · $28.50 hourly

Posted 2026-07-15 · Reviewed on 2026-09-09 · What do these ratings mean?

Verdict

The Handy Store is a long-standing Trail convenience/grocery store confirmed by multiple directories and a Facebook page at exactly the posting's mailing address, which is the retail storefront and classified as a business address. Having no official website is unknown and normal for a small local shop, so it is neutral. The main oddity is a very inflated HR/management duty list (recruitment strategies, collective consultation, performance reviews) for a $28.50/hr admin role at a corner store.

  • Duty list far exceeds the role+12

recruitment strategies, union liaison, performance reviews and workplace disease-prevention evaluation for a convenience-store admin

  • Mail-in resume for office role+8
