Verdict
The posting asks applicants to email a free gmail address (islandtirejobs@gmail.com), which is the one real concern here. Offsetting it, the web check verifies Big O Tires Nanaimo as a real tire/auto centre with its own site, and confirms the mail-in address 391 Albert St is the shop's own commercial premises, so applicationAddressType is "business" rather than a home or PO box. Duties, experience requirement, and the $38.40 hourly rate are all consistent with a journeyman automotive technician.
