Verdict
Kona Ice of Chilliwack is a real franchise with its own page on the corporate kona-ice.com site, and the application email uses the branded kona-ice.ca domain rather than a free provider, so no email flag fired. The concern is economic rather than identity-based: $38.50/hr full-time permanent for a food service supervisor on a mobile shaved-ice truck is far above market for the role and implausible for a seasonal event business, a point the verifier raised itself. The duty list is a short five-line boilerplate and the availability demands (evening, night, on call, weekend, overtime) are unusually broad for the pay claimed.

| Summary | Kona Ice of Chilliwack is a real franchise with its own page on the corporate kona-ice.com site (phone 778-581-5662) serving Chilliwack events; application email uses kona-ice.ca, a branded domain. Note: a $38.50/hr full-time permanent food service supervisor for a mobile shaved-ice truck is an unusually rich posting for the business size, worth a second look, but the company itself is genuine. |
