Occupation (NOC): Food counter attendants, kitchen helpers and related support occupations (65201) Location: Victoria, BC Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated) Hours: Part-time leading to full-time Term: Casual Workplace: [object Object] Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Tasks: Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts and waste disposal units, Load buspans and trays, Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware and flatware, Place dishes in storage area, Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, Scour pots and pans, Package take-out food, Prepare, heat and finish simple food items, Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, Stock refrigerators and salad bars, Take customers' orders, Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances and equipment, Handle and store cleaning products, Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards and other storage areas, Remove kitchen garbage and trash, Sharpen kitchen knives, Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, Food preparation, Food safety/handling skills Student status: Full time enrollment, Part time enrollment Screening questions: Are you currently a student?, Do you have experience working in this field?, Do you have the required certifications listed in the job posting?, Do you meet the language requirements listed in the job posting for the position (English or French)?
