Verdict
Equitable Life of Canada is verified as a real Canadian mutual insurer with a reachable site and live careers section, and the application goes to its own Dayforce candidate portal. The only negative finding is a locationMatch of "mismatch": the posting claims a BC location while the company is headquartered in Waterloo, Ontario, which is common for national insurers hiring remotely but is still an explicit mismatch. Salary and contract terms are otherwise ordinary.
