Verdict
Rated low risk. Counting against it: the employer's real-world location does not match the posting. In its favour: web search confirms the employer is a real business, the employer's own website lists job openings and the posting asks for no mailed materials. The score is computed from a fixed weight table; no model chose the number.

Sporting Life Group is a real, substantive Canadian sports retailer founded in 1979, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario. Official website is sportinglife.ca and they have a dedicated careers portal at joinsportinglife.com. However, the posting claims Victoria, BC location, but Sporting Life only has one BC store in Burnaby (Brentwood Mall). No Victoria store exists. Application is online only (no mailing address given). This is a RED FLAG for location mismatch.
